Role description

Mackay North State High School is seeking a motivated and reliable Teacher Aide to support the Home Economics Department. In this role, you will assist teachers and students during practical and classroom lessons, prepare and organise resources, and support the ordering, preparation and storage of food and materials required for learning activities. Experience in food preparation, hospitality or a similar environment would be highly regarded. The successful applicant will be organised, able to work collaboratively as part of a team, and committed to supporting positive learning outcomes for students. If you enjoy working in a dynamic educational environment and have an interest in food preparation and practical learning, we encourage you to apply. This position is being offered in a Permanent Part-Time capacity (0.52FTE), 40 hours per fortnight.
