Your Role

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and enthusiastic applicants for the position of Classroom Support Assistant to support the needs of students at Chanel College, Gladstone. This is a term-time continuing position for 35hpw, commencing as soon as possible.

Typical duties include but not limited to:

• Assist with supporting the needs of students with significant feeding, mobility and toileting needs.  This will usually occur in an assistant role to the full time carer but will necessitate training and the ability to take full responsibility for these needs during carer breaks and in case of emergency.
• Assist student learning, either individually or in groups, under the direct supervision of an academic staff member where limited discretion and judgement are involved
