Position Information
Carramar Public School is in the Auburn Network of schools and has an enrolment of 230 students. Approximately 85% of the students are from a language background other than English, including a number of new arrival and refugee students. Arabic (25%), Vietnamese (9%) and other Asian languages are the dominant groups, with Samoan and a small number of African groups also represented. A small number of students (1%) identify as being from an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background.
We are excited to be opening our new Public Preschool. This initiative is part of the NSW Government’s commitment to deliver 100 new public preschools by 2027. Carramar Public Preschool will accommodate 40 children per day and will feature brand new amenities including 2 preschool rooms, a large outdoor play area and staff rooms.
