Role description
We are seeking to establish a pool of Library Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Poynter Primary School (PS) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Library Officer to join our team.
We are located in the suburb of Duncraig, opened in 1980, are 15 kilometres from the CBD, and close to the beach. We have beautifully well maintained grounds with many gardens, paved courtyards and landscaped playing fields for our sporting teams and play areas. Poynter has a proud academic tradition of providing quality educational learning opportunities across all learning areas. Enrolments are stable at 420 students and national testing results support the school's reputation for strong academic achievement. Extension programs include access to the regional Primary Extension and Academic Challenge (PEAC) program and a school based Poynter Higher Order Thinking Skills Program.
