Role description
SCHOOL COUNSELLOR (Secondary) | Temporary Part-time | Commencement 27 July 2026
Arden is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic School Counsellor to support students in Years 7–12, covering a 12 month period of maternity leave. Our counsellors are passionate professionals who demonstrate a genuine commitment to supporting the wellbeing and development of young people.
The successful applicant will:
- demonstrate experience in assessing and delivering interventions for children and adolescents with social and emotional needs within a school environment, particularly those with cognitive, social, or emotional needs;
- have proven skills in risk assessment, safety planning, and working with neurodiverse students;
- demonstrate experience working within a multidisciplinary team to support students; and
- possess the ability to remain calm, responsive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
