Position Purpose
The purpose of the role is to design and deliver professional learning for teachers and leaders. This includes modes such as in-school consultancies, remote learning sessions, group presentations, conferences, demonstration lessons, instructional coaching, and more.

The areas of focus for the role will be to respond to requests from schools for support and advice across the breadth of the K-6 curriculum, teaching and learning. This includes working collaboratively with schools across the state to implement new syllabus documents, enhance existing teaching and learning practices and offer targeted guidance informed by curriculum, assessment and pedagogical expertise.

Key Accountabilities

• Design and deliver professional learning programs, grounded in adult learning principles, to strengthen the capability of school leaders and teachers
• Deliver expert guidance, advice, and support to schools in interpreting and implementing the NSW K–6 syllabuses, tailored to align with each school’s educational philosophy, organisational structure, and the specific needs of their students
