About the Role
The College is seeking a vibrant, dynamic and dedicated Leader of Careers to join our Secondary department.
This position is being offered as either a part-time or full-time role.
Specific Criteria:
- Demonstrated ability to assess student interests, strengths, and aspirations using a range of tools, interviews, and counselling techniques.
- Proven experience supporting students with tertiary, apprenticeship, and training applications, including interview and exam preparation.
- Strong knowledge of post-school pathways, including university, TAFE, apprenticeships, SBAT, and TVET options.
- Ability to provide accurate, up-to-date career and labour market information to students, staff, and families.
- Experience guiding students in subject selection (Years 10–12) aligned to career goals and ATAR requirements.
- Capacity to develop personalised career plans and support students in setting realistic, achievable goals.
- Proven ability to coordinate and manage career transition programs, including exit pathways and post-school planning.
- Experience organising and delivering career events such as expos, guest speakers, and information sessions.
- Strong skills in coordinating work experience programs, including employer liaison and compliance with requirements.
