Leadership position – 3 year appointment

 

Suitably experienced, qualified future focused teachers are invited to apply for this permanent teaching position with the leadership appointment as Head of Performing Arts for a 3-year period, commencing Term 1 2027.

 

The opportunity
The Head of Department (Performing Arts) is a key middle leadership position responsible for leading, developing and promoting the academic Performing Arts programs in Years 7 to 12 and for fostering authentic and engaging learning experiences across the department.   The College is particularly seeking a candidate with strong expertise and experience in Music education, performance and program leadership.

 

Reporting to and supporting the Head of Learning and Teaching, this role leads and manages the Performing Arts Department in accordance with the Strategic Plan, policy and direction of the College. The Head of Performing Arts will drive a professional improvement agenda and is committed to a shared educational vision, focused on providing a holistic education and quality learning outcomes for students. The successful candidate will also play a key role in strengthening and promoting Music within both the academic and co-curricular life of the College.
