Primary objective

Provide strategic program coordination, assurance and leadership across the Department’s responsibilities under identified funding agreements with the Australian Government, ensuring effective implementation, risk management, stakeholder engagement and high-quality reporting to meet Commonwealth requirements.

Context statementThe Strategic Policy area is responsible for developing, implementing and reporting on strategic policy, including supporting good governance across the agency. It is also responsible for developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with the Australian Government and other Northern Territory Government departments and for overseeing resource management to ensure alignment with strategic reform objectives.Key duties and responsibilities
