Primary objective
Oversee the management of Department of Education and Training Skills Centres across the NT and establish and maintain partnerships to drive improvement and deliver on project outcomes related to Vocational Education and Training (VET).

Skills NT provides leadership and strategic oversight of VET to build a skilled and capable Northern Territory workforce.
As the Territory’s state training authority, Skills NT ensures the effective delivery of the national VET framework and apprenticeships. The Skills NT team works in partnership with industry, community organisations and registered training organisations to deliver high-quality training aligned to current and future workforce needs.
