Primary objective
Work collaboratively in delivering high quality educational programs for students with complex disability and additional needs in partnership with families, community and professional networks to achieve optimal educational and social emotional outcomes for these students.
Context statement
Jabiru is a community transitioning from a traditional base as a mining community. It is transforming into an Indigenous led tourism and local government centre. Jabiru is located approximately 250 km east of Darwin in West Arnhem Land. The school caters for students from birth to senior secondary. Current enrolment is 160, with what is increasingly a predominantly Indigenous EaLD learner student cohort.
