About the role
Star of the Sea College, a Catholic independent girls’ school in the Presentation Sisters tradition, is seeking an innovative and collaborative Digital Literacies Specialist to drive staff and student technological capabilities, support classroom tech integration, and oversee the College’s digital records and information governance frameworks.
About the role
This role is is a full-time ongoing position and will present opportunities to evolve as part of our ongoing improvement in the contemporary learning environment. Background as a teacher, teacher librarian or digital specialist and experience in secondary school environment is required.

- Instructional technology support
- Digital records and information governance
- Student engagement
- Evaluation and implementation of software applications
About you
You are a patient and detail-orientated person who has a curious disposition toward technology and:
- Exceptional capability in instructional design
- Demonstrated skill in coaching and mentoring teaching staff to integrate technology
- Engaging presentation skills
- Proven ability to establish, manage and systematically audit digital file systems
- Proficient in advanced digital problem-solving
- Willing to support the Catholic ethos and Presentation values of the College
- Holds a Working with Children Check or VIT registration
