About the role
At Mercy College Coburg, we believe that a well-run, compliant and people-centred organisation is the backbone of an excellent school. Our HR and Compliance Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring our staff are supported, our systems are sound, and our College community can focus on what matters most — the students.
We are seeking an organised, detail-oriented and proactive HR and Compliance Administrator to join our team on an ongoing basis commencing Term Three. This is a flexible role working term time only with the option to work school hours.
About the role:
•Deliver end-to-end HR administration across the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding
•Maintain the College’s risk and compliance frameworks, including policies, procedures and mandatory training registers
•Manage staff records, leave entitlements and employee data in ICON/VCEA with accuracy and confidentiality
•Support the Principal and Senior Leadership with compliance monitoring, internal audits and OHS administration
•Contribute to a well-organised, people-centred culture within the College
We are looking for someone who:
•Is an experienced HR administrator with a passion for supporting people and getting the details right
•Brings strong organisational skills, advanced ICT capabilities and a high degree of confidentiality
•Has relevant HR qualifications and experience in a medium to large organisation — experience in an educational setting is highly regarded
