About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and student-centred leader to join our Wellbeing Team as Director of Students. This key leadership position plays a vital role in supporting student wellbeing, engagement and pastoral care across the College. Working closely with the Head of Students, House Leaders, students, families and staff, the Director of Students contributes to the development of a positive school culture where students are empowered to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
This is a POL4 position to commence asap until the end of 2027, with an ongoing teaching appointment.
As the Director of Students, you will:
- Support House Leaders in responding to student wellbeing, engagement and behavioural matters.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and review of the College Pastoral Care Program.
- Support effective case management processes for students requiring additional wellbeing support.
- Build positive and productive relationships with students, families, staff and external agencies.
- Monitor and respond to attendance, behaviour and wellbeing data to improve student outcomes.
- Support the development of student leadership opportunities, including House Representatives, House Captains and the Peer Support Leader Program.
