About the role
St Michael's Catholic Primary School, Ashburton, is seeking a highly motivated Science / STEM teacher to join our community for 0.4, replacement teaching position. The days of work will be Mondays and Tuesdays for Terms 3 and 4, 2026.
The successful applicant will:
- enrich our students with an engaging and contemporary Science / STEM curriculum
- work alongside students and staff to ensue that the Science / STEM program has a strong presence in the culture of St Michael's School
- provide an environment of inspiration, engagement, and enjoyment to the children in our care
- model the Catholic and community values of the school, working with the community of this school which is made up of families from diverse social backgrounds
- have a commitment to Child Safety and a knowledge of Child Safety Standards
- have a strong commitment to the philosophy of Catholic Education
- be registered with the VIT or hold Permission to Teach
