Role description
Applicants from the previous process IPS/SS960420 who were assessed as suitable are not required to reapply.
We are seeking to establish a pool of Special Needs Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Landsdale Primary School (PS) is part of the Ashdale cluster of schools which includes Ashdale Secondary College, Ashdale PS, Madeley PS and Carnaby Rise PS. This collaborative partnership creates an integrated, holistic Kindergarten to Year 12 learning community with a shared identity facilitated by geographical proximity and a strong sense of being an inclusive community.
Our students are supported to be happy and resilient. They are encouraged to make appropriate choices through our emphasis on Positive Education. This philosophy contributes to a whole school approach in managing student behaviour that minimises bullying.
Our student results compare favourably with national averages. Our teachers work in teams developing curriculum and instructional strategies to help individual students improve their learning. Parents have reported our teachers are approachable and open regarding discussing their children's learning.
