Early Childhood Educator (Diploma Qualified)

The Opportunity

We seek an Education Support Officer to join the St Joseph’s School Hectorville Occasional Care and Preschool team! If you are passionate about education, possess strong organisational skills, and can adapt and contribute to a dynamic learning environment, we invite you to apply.

Adaptability and flexibility are required for success in this role as it supports student groups during times when staff are rostered off the floor.

17 permanent hours a week for 41 weeks per year.

• Monday: 9.40am – 1.50pm
• Wednesday: 9.20am – 1.50pm
• Thursday: 9.40am – 1.50pm
• Friday: 9.40am – 1.50pm

Some additional hours may be offered from time to time, depending on need and availability.

Key Responsibilities

Professional relationships will be built with all the children and staff in the services to ensure continuity of learning and maintenance of a calm and safe environment.

About You

• Hold a qualification that ACECQA has assessed as the equivalent to an approved Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
• Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and early learning pedagogies
• An energetic, positive, and dynamic demeanour who is committed to working collaboratively in our school.
