OSHC Educator (qualified)- Casual

About the Role

St Francis Xavier's Catholic School is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified OSHC Educators to join our Outside School Hours Care service team on a casual basis.

In this role you will work under general supervision as a qualified educator, supporting the delivery of engaging, inclusive and developmentally appropriate OSHC and Vacation Care programs.   You will contribute to a safe, welcoming and respectful environment that reflects the values and ethos of St Francis Xavier's Catholic School.

This position offers flexible hours during school terms across Before and After School Care, with the opportunity for additional hours during school holiday programs. 

Qualified OSHC Educators may be required to act as a Responsible Person in line with service needs and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of OSHC and Vacation Care programs
• Support children's wellbeing, inclusion and daily routines, including personal care where required
• Foster positive, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues 
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, school policies and the National Quality Framework
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist with general administrative tasks
• Participate in team meetings, training and ongoing professional development
• Model professional conduct consistent with Catholic values and school expectations
