Religious Education/English Teacher

A temporary full time position commencing 20 July 2026 until 25 September 2026. The successful applicant will be required to teach Religious Education/English. 

The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning for students to reach their full potential.

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA

• Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
• Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.
• Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
• Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in Religious Education and English.
• Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
• Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider school community.

GENERAL CAPABILITIES

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organisational skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Appropriate qualifications for teaching nominated Key Learning Area (s).
• Accredited Level D to teach Religious Education in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain this level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.
• The applicant must be accredited to teach with NESA.
