This is a permanent part-time (0.4FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2026
Established in 1914 East Victoria Park Primary School (PS) has been preparing our children for the future for a century. Through our motto, 'Celebrating Diversity', we aim to provide the best possible education for each child who attends our school, ensuring they develop a broad range of skills to enable them to take responsibility for their own direction and to adapt to a changing world.
East Victoria Park PS is a level 5 Independent Public School located on the corner of Mint St and Beatty Ave which offers two Kindergarten, two Pre-primary and 12 Year 1 to Year 6 classes. Our well-resourced facilities include connected classrooms, music room, iCentre, general multi-purpose room, science room and covered assembly area, all set on extensive and attractive grounds.

The Role
The School Officer will ideally play a critical role in ensuring the smooth financial operation of the school. This includes tasks such as undertaking account and GST coding, reconciling financial records and processing invoices. School Officers also assist with month-end procedures such as transporting receipts to the bank and maintaining data integrity. They will ideally be responsible for collating figures for financial planning and budgeting, which will help the school make informed decisions about its resources.
