About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Learning Enrichment Education Support Officer (ESO) to join our Inclusive Education team.
5 days per week, 8.30am to 3.15pm
Position is available on a 6-month contract basis commencing as soon as possible, with the potential to convert to a permanent opportunity.
Working under the direction of the Learning Enrichment Coordinator, these roles support teachers to meet the educational, social, and emotional needs of students requiring additional assistance across both Primary and Secondary settings. You will assist in delivering classroom and small-group learning support programs and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute positively to the school community and uphold the ethos and values of a Catholic school.
- Support teachers with learning activities, classroom management, and intervention programs.
- Assist students with additional learning needs, including those with Personalised Plans for Learning (PPLs).
- Use discretion and initiative to adapt learning materials and provide feedback on student progress.
