Role description
This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 3, 2026
Yanchep Secondary College (SC) provides young people in the Yanchep area with a high quality, comprehensive education. Yanchep SC opened in 2018. We offer a broad, high-level curriculum encompassing academic programs and vocational courses to provide students with opportunities to pursue learning interests that inspire and challenge them.
We enrol students from year 7 to year 12. Stage 2 of our building program is underway. This will include a commercial kitchen and cafe and an arts centre for visual and performing arts. The school is designed to give students access to specialist subject teaching and the best learning practices to promote success and excellence.

The Role
Ideally, we are seeking to appoint a highly skilled and motivated Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) teacher to join our team. We are committed to excellence in teaching and learning and are seeking a like-minded teacher with a passion for teaching secondary students and a sound understanding of the Western Australian HASS curriculum. Ideally, the successful applicant would have the knowledge and experience to teach Senior School including an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) Course of study.
