Role Description

  • This position is school terms only (42 weeks per year) 8:00am-4:00pm Monday to Friday Salary Circa $70,000
  • Provide a broad range of human resources support services under moderate direction, contributing to an efficient, responsive, and professional HR function.
  • Coordinate and support key HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage a diverse range of day-to-day HR enquiries, activities, and administrative processes within the school environment.
  • Deliver professional and effective HR support to staff and leadership, ensuring smooth operational people management practices.
  • Contribute to the achievement of school objectives and support broader CESA strategic priorities through high-quality human resources practices.

Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications

  • A Diploma in Human Resources (or equivalent) comprising a minimum of one year of study and/or relevant demonstrated knowledge and experience in a comparable role.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing a high level of human resources tasks and applying a broad knowledge base incorporating theoretical concepts with substantial depth in areas of responsibility.
