Details: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Speech Pathologist to join our Black Mountain School Student Engagement Team (SET) to be part of our multidisciplinary team comprising of speech pathology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and psychology.
This is an on-site position, and clinicians are required to work on school grounds for the duration of the standard school day, during school terms. Flexible working arrangements may be considered during stand down (school holiday) periods, in consultation with the BMS Director for Allied Health.
Speech Pathologists at Black Mountain School may provide consultation, assessment and intervention in the following areas:
- Provide evidence-based speech pathology assessment and support (Universal, Selected and/or Targeted) based on principles of inclusion; for students with additional speech, language, communication and mealtime needs who are experiencing barriers to learning and participation at school.
- Provide information, advice and professional learning to teachers, school leaders, support staff and other allied health professionals to enhance the teaching and support of students with additional speech, language, communicati…
