Details: The Youth Worker role at Flexible Education will be part of a multidisciplinary team to support high school aged young people to engage in learning. The role will include:

• providing transport to young people to and from school in the Flexible Education vehicles
• working with young people to support their engagement in the outreach program
• support students to regulate
• monitor students’ progress
• support / deliver programs as part of the program

The ideal candidate has experience in providing timely, high-quality services. The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of supports and be familiar with education settings. They will also have the ability to impact positively on student outcomes through developing a strong understanding of student need, trauma informed practice, strong communication and a commitment to continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work within the Safe and Supportive Schools policy, have strong interpersonal skills and be able to successfully prioritise competing priorities in their day-to-day work.
