Wanniassa School is seeking a proactive and caring Koori Preschool Assistant to work in our Koori Preschool Program.

Wanniassa School is a small preschool to year 10 school with two campuses. We are a diverse and welcoming community. Our staff work together to support every student to learn, grow and succeed.

Our preschool also operates as a Koori Preschool and provides a free, play‑based early learning  program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children aged from birth to five years. The program supports children’s early learning, wellbeing, cultural identity and helps them build connections to culture and community.

As a Koori Preschool Assistant, you will work closely with educators and school communities to support children’s learning and include cultural knowledge in everyday preschool activities. You will help create a safe, caring and engaging play-based learning environment. You will also support classroom activities, assist with simple admin tasks, and build strong partnerships with families.

The Koori Preschool runs 5 days per fortnight (9:15 am – 3:15 pm) , currently Thursday and Friday one week…
