Primary objectiveBuild teacher capability in high‑quality literacy instruction by supporting staff to use data, evidence and current research to reflect on and refine their pedagogical practice. Working collaboratively with the Leadership Team, the role will lead and coach teachers in the development and implementation of quality literacy curriculum, assessment processes and whole‑school, evidence‑based approaches. In addition, the role will design professional learning, undertake an appropriate teaching load, and build the deep knowledge base required to strengthen literacy teaching and learning across the school.Context statementSadadeen Primary School is a dynamic independent public school in the northern suburbs of Alice Springs, serving approximately 120 students from Preschool to Year 6.
