Primary objective
As a member of the school leadership team of Yuendumu School, provide innovative leadership and management to implement the Learning in Country (LinC) Program to achieve optimal educational outcomes for Yuendumu School students.
Context statementYuendumu School is in the community of Yuendumu, 300 km northwest of Alice Springs. The school operates across two adjacent sites which include a Child and Family Centre (CFC) providing education and care services for young children and their families from birth to school age; as well as primary schooling for students from Preschool to Year 6, and Secondary schooling for students from Years 7 – 12. The school works in partnership with Warlpiri elders, the community of Yuendumu and a wide range of stakeholders to implement teaching and learning using bilingual approaches and Warlpiri knowledge, language and culture as a cornerstone for achieving, engagement, wellbeing and learning.Key duties and responsibilities
