Primary objective
Work with the Learning in Country Team (LinC) to plan, organise and deliver cultural activities that support students to experience a rich and meaningful learning in country program, partnering with Senior Warlpiri Educators, as well as cultural leaders and custodians from across the Walpiri community to ensure that Warlpiri culture and language are at the heart of teaching and learning across the stages of schooling, and empowering strong identity and connection for all students.
Context statement
Yuendumu School is in the community of Yuendumu, 300 km northwest of Alice Springs. The school operates across two adjacent sites which include a Child and Family Centre (CFC) providing education and care services for young children and their families from birth to school age; as well as primary schooling for students from Preschool to Year 6, and Secondary schooling for students from Years 7 – 12.
