Primary objectiveThe Business Manager provides strategic and operational leadership, advice and management support in the areas of finance, procurement, administration, infrastructure and human resource management for non-teaching staff in a busy and demanding school environment, including liaison with centralised service providers.Context statement
Acacia Hill School, located in Alice Springs, is the only special school in Central Australia, and has an enrolment of approximately 120 students ranging from Preschool to Year 12. Over 80% of students need support with communication. The school’s highly specialised learning and wellbeing programs cater developmentally for students with intellectual disability or multiple complex disabilities using the Early Years Learning Framework, the pre-foundation Victorian Curriculum and the Australian Curriculum.
