Role description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Director of Basketball to join our team at Trinity Grammar School. This Full Time position (38 hours per week, 44 weeks per year), offers the opportunity to contribute to a high performing, student focused environment where teamwork and personal development are central to all we do.
Basketball is a cornerstone of the TGS Sport program and one of the highest participation sports within the School. Trinity competes in the Combined Associated Schools (CAS) competition, providing a strong and highly competitive environment across Sydney’s leading independent schools.
In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Sport – Basketball, coaching Basketball in the Senior School while also taking a lead role in managing and developing the Primary School Basketball program. You will also contribute to the broader delivery of a dynamic and engaging basketball program, enhancing students’ technical skills, game understanding, and fostering a lifelong enjoyment of the sport.
Based across the School’s Summer Hill and Strathfield campuses, you will work with both Primary and High School students. During the non-peak basketball season, you will apply your coaching and sports administration expertise to support other areas within the Sport and Co-curricular department.
