Role description

We are seeking a passionate and collaborative Stage 3 Classroom Teacher to join St Patrick’s College, in a Temporary Part-Time (0.6FTE) job share position, commencing Monday 20 July and conclude Friday 4 December 2026.

This role will involve teaching across Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week and requires a teacher who is committed to fostering positive student outcomes, building strong relationships within a collaborative team environment, and contributing to the broader life of the school. The successful applicant will demonstrate effective classroom practice, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a job share arrangement to ensure continuity of learning and student wellbeing.

About You 

  • A working understanding of, and commitment to the Catholic ethos of a School in the Edmund Rice tradition.
  • Demonstrated understanding of appropriate behaviours and professional boundaries that reflect child safeguarding values in practice.
  • Primary teaching qualifications with NESA
  • Accreditation and approval to teach in NSW.
  • Demonstrated excellence as a classroom practitioner.
  • Demonstrated success in differentiation of curriculum including implementation of effective literacy and assessment strategies.
  • Demonstrated effective classroom management through clear expectations, proactive behaviour strategies, and fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Ability to effectively incorporate ICT into teaching, learning, and assessment to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
