HSIE Teacher – Business Studies Focus

We are seeking a passionate and innovative HSIE teacher with a strong focus on Business Studies to join our Secondary School team on a fixed term basis for 12 months. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering a rigorous academic program and fostering a culture of high achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Business Studies lessons that inspire student interest and achievement.
• Contribute to the academic strength and collaborative culture of the HSIE faculty.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Integrate relevant technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
• Use student performance data to inform and refine teaching practices.
• Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and colleagues regarding progress and wellbeing.
• Participate fully in the life of the College, including co-curricular activities and occasional Saturday sport.
• Undertake additional duties as directed by the Head of College or delegate.

Essential Criteria:

• Demonstrated expertise in teaching Business Studies, with capacity to teach other HSIE subjects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiasm for learning and a commitment to student success.
• High emotional intelligence and a positive, professional approach.
• High expectations for student learning and behaviour.
• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a team environment.
• Willingness to support the Orthodox ethos and values of the College.

The successful applicant will be required to hold:

• A relevant tertiary qualification.
• A current and valid work rights in Australia.
• A current and valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) 
• eTAMS teacher accreditation
