HSIE Teacher – Business Studies Focus

We are seeking a passionate and innovative HSIE teacher with a strong focus on Business Studies to join our Secondary School team on a fixed term basis for 12 months. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering a rigorous academic program and fostering a culture of high achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Business Studies lessons that inspire student interest and achievement.
- Contribute to the academic strength and collaborative culture of the HSIE faculty.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Integrate relevant technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
- Use student performance data to inform and refine teaching practices.
- Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and colleagues regarding progress and wellbeing.
- Participate fully in the life of the College, including co-curricular activities and occasional Saturday sport.
- Undertake additional duties as directed by the Head of College or delegate.
Essential Criteria:
- Demonstrated expertise in teaching Business Studies, with capacity to teach other HSIE subjects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm for learning and a commitment to student success.
- High emotional intelligence and a positive, professional approach.
- High expectations for student learning and behaviour.
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a team environment.
- Willingness to support the Orthodox ethos and values of the College.
The successful applicant will be required to hold:
- A relevant tertiary qualification.
- A current and valid work rights in Australia.
- A current and valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- eTAMS teacher accreditation
