Release CLASSROOM TEACHER (BURWOOD)

St. Scholastica's Catholic Primary School located in Burwood is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and friendly classroom teacher to join our school  two days a week (Wed & either Mon, Thurs or Fri). The successful applicant will be required to:

• support the Catholic ethos of the school
• display knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum
• use effective differentiated teaching using data in the key areas of English and Mathematics
• provide engaging contemporary learning opportunities across the curriculum.
• build and maintain positive respectful relationships with students, colleagues and parents
• work flexibly and collaboratively within staff teams
• implement differentiated teaching strategies in response to assessed learning strengths and needs of the child
• have a knowledge and/ or experience in explicit Instruction, vision of learning and vision of engagement.

Special Requirements

VIT registration

Accreditation to teach RE in a Catholic School or willingness to do so.
