The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- Experience in event management, publicity, marketing, communications or project coordination
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Experience coordinating large-scale public or community events
- An ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- High-level attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
- Experience in publication development, historical storytelling or visual media projects would be highly regarded
- An appreciation for education, community history and the importance of preserving institutional legacy
Role
Canterbury Girls¿ Secondary College is seeking an outstanding and highly organised professional to lead the planning, promotion and delivery of the College¿s 100 Year Anniversary celebrations in 2028.
This is a unique opportunity to shape and deliver a once-in-a-generation milestone that honours a century of outstanding education for girls while capturing and celebrating the stories, achievements and legacy of our community.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Principal, College leadership, alumni, the Mangarra Society, staff, students and the wider community to design and coordinate a comprehensive centenary program culminating in a Gala Celebration Event and the publication of a commemorative Coffee Table Book documenting the College¿s rich 100-year history.
