We recognise that families are a child¿s first and most influential teachers, playing a vital role in their learning and development. Staff are committed to supporting a smooth and positive transition from kindergarten to school. The school maintains a close and long-standing partnership with Millewa Pre-School, with staff working alongside parents and early childhood educators to support students¿ academic, cultural, physical and social development.

Curriculum planning at Werrimull reflects the professionalism, dedication and expertise of our staff, both during and beyond normal school hours. Staff members are employed to design and deliver a rich and well-rounded educational program that supports the development of the whole child. While Literacy and Mathematics remain core priorities, staff also ensure strong delivery of Design, SOSE, Science and Technology. Staff provide targeted support and extension through additional programs, including the school¿s tutoring program, which responds to students at their point of need. Staff encourage all students to participate in NAPLAN and take pride in supporting and celebrating student achievement.
