Role description
Selection Criteria
KSC 1. Outstanding knowledge and experience with Department of Education Human Resources and Finance software systems including Cases21, EduPay and SRP, external software including Microsoft Office and Compass and an extensive understanding of the policies and obligations relating to staff employment and school finances.
KSC 2. Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills including both written and verbal, which reflect a strong ability to build constructive professional relationships with stakeholders.
KSC 3. Demonstrated capacity to lead and improve the implementation of finance and human resources and work collaboratively with school leaders to develop and embed strategic priorities.
KSC 4. Demonstrated high-level technical knowledge and expertise to support the Executive Principal with strategic planning and managing the College SRP.
KSC5. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in leading a team and proven experience to develop procedures and guidelines relating to finance, human resources and business operations.

The Head of Business Services and Human Resources provides strategic leadership and operational management across the schools financial, administrative, and human resources functions.
This role ensures that the schools business operations support its educational mission and strategic goals, while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and financial standards for all campuses within Parkville College.
