Salary band -$73,078 - $75,417
Early Learning Victoria has established a new government-owned early learning and childcare centre located at Murtoa College. Opened in 2025, this 57-place centre offers childcare, Three-Year-Old Kindergarten and Pre-Prep for four-year-olds.
Early Learning Victoria is approved to receive the Australian Government¿s Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) Worker Retention Grant. This provides a wage increase of 15% above the modern award rates for eligible workers, funded by the Commonwealth through to 30 November 2026.
Early Learning Victoria centres can operate with a rotating roster to provide flexibility across the workday whilst maximising the continuity of care for children and families. Dependant on centre needs, staff may have the flexibility to work compressed hours in a flexible arrangement. A comprehensive range of professional development and training opportunities is also on offer for staff to support their career growth and development. Each year staff are eligible for two paid professional development days. Full time Room Leaders will have 4 hours of planning time throughout the week.
