Join Our Lady Queen of Peace School – Teaching opportunity available
Commencing Term 3 2026
Our Lady Queen of Peace School is seeking passionate and innovative educators to join our vibrant learning community. We invite applications for a replacement teaching position. There is a possibility of the role continuing in 2027.
We are looking for a Spanish teacher who are committed to contemporary pedagogical practices and who will contribute positively to our school’s Catholic identity and Mercy tradition. Please note, we are open to an alternative language including Auslan.
Key responsibilities:
The successful applicant will:
- Actively support and contribute to the Catholic identity of Our Lady Queen of Peace School.
- Demonstrate an understanding of a contemporary, inclusive pedagogy for teaching and co-ordinating an Spanish Languages program aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
- Communicate understanding of how evidence is used to inform practice to achieve improved learning progress for all students.
- Possess highly effective communication and interpersonal skills in developing positive and collaborative relationships with learners, colleagues, parents/carers and the broader community.
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of contemporary practices for developing student responsibiity and wellbeing.
- Be a dynamic educator who is committed to ongoing personal and professional learning; working collaboratively as part of a Professional Learning Community.
