About the Role
We are seeking an energetic, organised and passionate BASC Director to lead our Before & After School Care and Vacation Care programs. This is a split-shift leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys collaborating with school communities and loves creating meaningful experiences for children.
As the Director, you’ll oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality programming, support a motivated team of educators, and build positive relationships with children, families, and the wider school community.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor and support a dedicated team of educators.
- Manage day-to-day service operations across Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care.
- Develop engaging, age-appropriate programs that promote fun, wellbeing, inclusion and learning.
- Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework and regulatory requirements.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, school staff and external stakeholders.
- Oversee enrolments, staffing, rosters, budgets and reporting.
- Foster a safe, positive and nurturing environment for every child.
About You
You are a warm, confident leader who enjoys working in a child-centred environment. You have strong organisational skills and a positive, proactive approach to service management.
You will bring:
- Experience in an OSHC or similar leadership role.
- A sound understanding of NQF and relevant legislation.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead with confidence.
- Qualifications aligned with ACECQA requirements (e.g. Diploma in Children’s Services, Education Support, or equivalent).
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Working With Children Check.
