Head Teacher Welfare - Tallawong High School (Prov)

Tallawong High School is a new school in Sydney’s north west growth corridor, Dharug Ngurra (Country). The school will open with Stage 4 in 2027, growing to full capacity for 1000 students and the first Year 12 cohort in 2031. The school has end-of-trip facilities for staff and is close to public transport. This role is to commence Term 4 2026, with all the preliminary requirements of establishing a team in a new school, including staffing, programming, systems and processes. Our school has close links with local primary schools, particularly Schofields Public School and Tallawong Public School, serving a culturally and linguistically diverse community. An innovative Aboriginal Education Cultural Hub will be established on-site, in partnership with the local AECG and local knowledge holders, and this will inform our central commitment to Aboriginal education across all aspects of our school.
