Position Information
Googong High School (name pending) will open to year 7 and 8 students in 2027. Situated in the Queanbeyan Network on Ngambri and Ngunnawal Country, the school serves a rapidly growing, highly engaged and aspirational community, with the potential for the school to expand to cater for approximately 2000 students.
The new Deputy Principal will commence in term 3 to support the Principal in the challenging yet rewarding work of establishing a new school. During this time, the successful applicant will be involved in responsibilities such as establishing effective systems and process to support student wellbeing, inclusion and school operations. They will also be heavily involved in building positive relationships with the broader school community who are eagerly awaiting the commencement of the school.
