About the role

Fixed Term (12 months) | 0.4–0.5 FTE | Potential to Become Ongoing

Salesian College is seeking a creative and organised Communications & Design Officer to join our Advancement team on a part-time, fixed-term basis.

Reporting to the Director of Advancement, this role supports the College’s Catholic and Salesian mission by delivering high-quality design and digital communications that strengthen our brand, storytelling and community engagement.

About the Role

You will:

  • Design and produce creative assets across digital and print channels (campaign artwork, social media, video, signage, event materials, presentations)
  • Support College campaigns and communications across the website, blog and social media platforms
  • Contribute to clear, engaging messaging aligned with College brand standards
  • Provide design and communications support for College, community and alumni events
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to meet priorities and deadlines

About You

You bring:

  • Strong graphic design and visual communication skills
  • Experience creating digital content and working across multiple platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • A collaborative approach and ability to work independently
  • An understanding of, and commitment to, a Catholic school environment (desirable)
