Role description

About the Role

This position combines WHS coordination with day‑to‑day administrative support. Working under direction of School Leadership, undertake responsibility for safety compliance, documentation, and general office operations, supporting our team has what they need to work safely and efficiently.  

Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm (37.5 hours per week for 44 Weeks) (Working hours and FTE negotiable)

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with CSaIM to enable school development, implementation, and monitoring of WHS policies and procedures
  • Arrange and assist with site inspections, risk assessments, and incident reporting
  • Maintain safety registers, training records, and compliance documentation
  • Coordinate inductions for new staff and contractors
  • Provide general administrative support including reception duties, and document management

Selection Criteria

  • Strong understanding of Work, Health & Safety Principles (Diploma/Cert IV WHS highly regarded)
  • Previous experience in WHS and administration
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and digital record‑keeping systems
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving
