Digital Technologies Teacher

St Patrick’s are looking for an experienced Digital Technologies teacher who can undertake the following duties. Please note, this list is not exhaustive.

• Plan and deliver teaching across the areas of Digital Technologies and Design and Technology from the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 from years Foundation to Year 6
• Support students to safely and responsibly use digital technologies and online platforms
• Develop students’ skills in computational thinking, coding, digital systems, design thinking, sustainability and problem-solving
• Differentiate teaching programs to meet the diverse learning needs of students across year levels
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in Digital Technologies and Design and Technologies

 Essential Knowledge and Experience

• Applicants must have an updated VIT registration
• Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School is an advantage
• Exemplary teaching practice with proven classroom management practice
• Comprehensive knowledge of current educational needs and achievement standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including team building and mentoring skills.
