About the role
St Mary’s School, Altona is seeking a part-time (3 days) classroom teacher. Graduates and PTT students are welcome to apply.
The successful applicant will be a dynamic, collaborative colleague who understands and values the link between student success and collective teacher efficacy.
They are committed to learning about and incorporating the great work the school has enacted in the Western Region's Flourishing Learners professional learning.

Selection Criteria
- A demonstrated commitment and capacity to actively contribute to and support the Catholic ethos
- An understanding of MACS' Vision for Instruction
- Knowledge of current best practices in literacy and numeracy
- A commitment to contributing positively to team-based planning
- A strong commitment and ability to engage with all members of the community
The successful applicant will hold Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration (or PTT can be applied for).
They will also be committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and to ensuring St Mary's Child safety policies and procedures are fully enacted.
