PREP CLASSROOM TEACHER – Term 3 Start 2026

CtP is an integral part of the faith community of St Catherine of Siena, Caroline Springs and is one of three primary schools in the parish. CtP is governed by Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) Limited. MACS is the employer of employees at Christ the Priest Catholic Primary School.

Christ the Priest (CtP) Catholic Primary School is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.

We are seeking candidates with the following desired qualities:

1. Be faith-filled with a strong commitment to the Catholic Ethos of the school and the spiritual, emotional, social and educational wellbeing of all students 

2. A collaborative approach with colleagues, parents and students.

3. Strong behaviour management practices

4. Skills to use data to inform the teaching and learning of students

5. A willingness to change and develop as new learning and teaching approaches are introduced

Special Requirements

-accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School is desirable.

-be committed to child safety, maintaining best practices to ensure this and to ongoing evaluation of these practices.

-have read and be committed to maintaining the standards set out in our Child Safety Code of Conduct and Child Safety Policy.

-have read, and be aware of the attached statement on the 'Principles Regarding Catholic Education'.

-hold current VIT registration.
