Role description
South East Region - School and Regional Operations and Performance Division
As a Guidance Officer you will require strong skills in communication, interagency collaboration and capability to work with Department of Education and Queensland Hospital and Queensland Health professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team to support student transitions from QHEP to their base schools (DoE or Independent) or alternate education pathways. While Guidance Officers Hospital Education Program (GOHEP) are employed under the Department's generic Guidance Officer role description, the Guidance Officer - Hospital Education Program is a specialist role whose day-to-day activities and responsibilities align with Queensland Children's Hospital School Education Programs.
