Role description
ABOUT US
Harkaway Hills College is an independent school teaching the Catholic faith, located in Narre Warren North. The College currently educates 350 students from Pre-Prep to Year 10. Each coming year, the College will be opening a new year level, through to Grade 12 in 2027.
In 2026, the College will be running Unit 1-2 VCE subjects, as well as some Unit 3-4 VCE subjects as part of our accelerated program for our Year 11 students.
The College is a project of the Parents for Education (PARED) Victoria Foundation, and is founded on the principles that parents are the primary educators of their children, and that schools exist to support parents in this role. This support is found in the quality of the academic curriculum, in the way that staff work with students and parents in a unique mentoring program, in the emphasis on character development and virtues in the curriculum, and in the concern that staff and peer example be fully positive and supportive of parents.
The College is currently seeking Science teachers to be part of the inaugural Harkaway Hills College Secondary program. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the curriculum development and formation of a new college of educational excellence.
