Role description

Founded in 1881 by the Marist Brothers, St Joseph’s College is a boarding and day secondary boys school, whose Catholic identity is shaped by Marist spirituality and traditions. Governed by Marist Schools Australia, the College enrolment is 1,100 students.

Music Teacher 

Fixed term contract commencing at the start of Term 3 and concluding at the end of Term 4, 2026

Term 3 – Full time

Term 4- 0.8fte (with possible further casual work)

 

The College seeks to employ a music curriculum teacher. Working within a flourishing music education program, the successful candidate will be suitably qualified with a proven record of excellence in teaching and learning. Experience with music technology and ability to lead co-curricular ensembles is highly desirable.


A demonstrated capacity to embrace the College’s Learning Framework and a collegial & collaborative approach as a member of a successful department is essential. Applications from early career teachers are also welcomed.
